Inspired by one of Singapore’s most prominent magicians in the 1970s, Andy started to learn magic at the tender age of 11. With more than 25 years of experience under his belt, Andy has carved out a niche for himself. There is a unique oriental touch to his style of magic. Coming from an engineering background, Andy lets his creativity and innovation flow as he designs his own tricks and props. Ask him what his key to success is, he will say, “I eat, sleep, dream magic.” No wonder.
Andy’s trademark performance is his Oriental Stage Magic. Wearing an Oriental outfit, he performs visual magic to appropriate background Chinese music. His act has an Oriental theme and utilizes colourful items such as scarves, newspaper, linking rings and even parasols. His Chinese Linking Rings (Great Wong’s Routine) has always received tremendous applause from the audience. Andy often ends his oriental act with a surprise production from Kuma Tubes.
